Misbah-ul-Haq's Pakistan were well beaten in the one-day series.Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq accepted that England had improved after being whitewashed in the Test series, as they did the same to his side in the one-day series.
A superb century from Kevin Pietersen, his second in successive games, led England to victory in the fourth and final ODI and completed a 4-0 thrashing of Pakistan in the 50-over game.

England have improved and really batted well since the Test series. They've started playing the spinners well.

England had previously suffered a 3-0 mauling in the Tests in the UAE, in particular struggling to cope with spin duo Saeed Ajmal and Abdur Rehman.
However, they fared much better in the shorter form of the game and earned praise from Misbah for turning around their fortunes.
He told reporters: "England have improved and really batted well since the Test series. They've started playing the spinners well.
"The contribution from the batsmen at the top was remarkable, to get four centuries. That's the main difference between the two teams."
Meanwhile, opener and ODI skipper Alastair Cook will remain with the England squad for the upcoming three Twenty20 internationals, with Misbah concerned that the left-hander is in top form.
"He's their in-form batsman, so he's a bit of a concern for us," Misbah added.
Reigning world champions England are 3.20 to win the T20 series and 1213.00 to triumph 3-0, with Pakistan 1.36 to come out on top in the shortest form of the game.
