Sri Lanka aim to continue revival

Having tied with India and secured a bonus point win over Australia, Sri Lanka are now very much back in contention in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy.
India skipper MS Dhoni has not for the first time received a suspension for slow over rates and will miss the clash against Sri Lanka. His recent form has been a plus for an Indian side producing less than sparkling performances and his absence will hardly help his side's cause.
His 158 runs for once out in the last three fixtures has been a rare plus and it will be up to Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar to give the side a lead.

Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene has seen some of his men improve as the tournament has progressed; Angelo Mathews has rediscovered his form; young all-rounder Thisara Perera has been good in all disciplines while Farveez Maharoof enjoyed a fine return to the colours against Australia.
Dinesh Chandimal has enjoyed the consistent bounce in Australia and Kumar Sangakkara and the skipper are showing signs of the class they undoubtedly possess.
India do not travel well and they have the look of a side who will be happy to see home shores. If Sri Lanka win this game they will move above India into second place with a game in hand. It is a game the Indians cannot afford to lose but do they have the spirit to respond?
Jayawardene and Malinga are taken to star for Sri Lanka who are 1.90 to win with a bit to spare in game eight of the series. India can be backed at 1.90 to emerge victorious.
