Saints boss Nigel Adkins insists his side are ready for the final promotion push.Southampton boss Nigel Adkins insists his side will not crumble under the pressure as they push for promotion to the Premier League.
The Saints moved to the top of the Championship table with a thumping 4-0 win over Derby at the weekend.
Adkins side currently lead West ham by two points, but the Hammers have two games in hand, and the Saints boss insists his side can handle the pressure and grab automatic promotion this season.
"If you look at the top 10 they all have to play each other and every game is going to be a tough one and have a meaning to it," he told Saints' official website.
"It's like this every year and it really is the exciting part of the season. I like to think that we are going into it with a strong squad of players, we need to have that because they will all be used and they are all behind each other.
"We have 14 games of the season left and everyone has to be ready to go out and give everything for the cause, because it isn't about the 11 players it is about the whole squad."
Southampton can be backed at 3.50 to secure the Championship title and 1.083 to be promoted, either with a top two finish or by winning the play-offs.
West Ham are 201.00 to win the title, while third placed Reading are 1.00 to secure Championship glory.
