Caroline Wozniacki has vowed to come back stronger after seeing her hopes of a first-ever Grand Slam title dashed once again at the Australian Open.
Wozniacki was beaten in straight sets in her quarter-final against defending champion Kim Clijsters, a result which also means that she will lose her number one world ranking at the end of the tournament.

I will definitely do my best and try to win one (Grand Slam) or even more.

However, the Dane has dismissed the ongoing debate over whether she deserved to be top of the pile, insisting that she will remain focused on giving her all.
"To be honest, I don't really think about it. I have been there for a long time already. I finished number one two years in a row.
"At the end of the year we will see who played the best. I will get it back eventually, so I'm not worried.
"I will definitely do my best and try to win one (Grand Slam) or even more. At the end of the day, you can just do your best. You can't do anything more than that."
Wozniacki's next chance of Grand Slam glory will come at the French Open and she is 26.00 to take the title at Roland Garros, with Petra Kvitova 10.00 and Serena Williams 3.50.
The 21-year-old's only Grand Slam final to date was at the 2009 US Open, where she was again denied by Clijsters.
