Blake Griffin had 23 points and 15 rebounds as all five LA starters were in double figures in an easy win over the Washington Wizards.
The former Oklahoma star was 10-of-19 from the floor as the Clips sent the Wizards to their 23rd loss of the season with the 18 point victory.
Even worse are the Charlotte Bobcats who fell to 3-26 with their 16th straight defeat falling 102-90 in Minneapolis to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Ricky Rubio had a quiet evening with six points and seven assists, but Kevin Love dropped in 30 points and pulled 18 boards off the glass as Minnesota remains the only Northwest division side under .500 on the season.
Leading the way in the division with the Western Conference's best record are Oklahoma City, however the Thunder came up short against the Rockets losing 96-95 in Houston.
Kevin Martin made two free throws with 23 seconds to go in the game, part of the shooting guard's game-high 32 points, to give the Rockets the win.
San Antonio and Dallas ahead of the Rockets in the Southwest division both also won, denying Houston the opportunity to close the gap in the standings.
The Spurs made it nine in a row as they went into Toronto and beat the Raptors while the Mavericks opened a 29 point lead over the visiting Denver Nuggets by the end of the third quarter and cruised to a 103-84 final score.
Oklahoma are 2.25 to win the NBA Western Conference, while Houston are 7501.00, San Antonio can be backed at 1.62 with Dallas 5001.00.
